Won Bin, who sent a condolence wreath on the 17th, personally attended the funeral. Wearing a somber expression, he arrived with associates to pay his final respects to the deceased.
Although Won Bin has remained inactive in the acting industry since The Man from Nowhere, he personally visited the funeral home after hearing the tragic news.
Fellow actors Han So Hee and Kim Bo Ra also attended the funeral to pay their respects. Among them, Kim Bo Ra sent a condolence wreath with the message, "When we meet again, I’ll nag you less."
Additionally, condolence wreaths from actors Gong Myung, Ma Dong Seok, and the band FT Island were placed in front of the funeral hall. Astro’s MJ and Jinjin also sent wreaths under the name of their agency, Fantagio.
Blitzway Studio, which represents actors Ko Doo Shim, Jung Ryeo Won, Joo Ji Hoon, Son Dam Bi, Chun Woo Hee, Park Ha Sun, and Woo Do Hwan, also sent a condolence wreath to express their sympathy. Kim Se Ui, CEO of the YouTube channel ‘Garosero Research Institute,’ paid tribute with a wreath as well.
According to the Seongdong Police Station in Seoul, Kim Sae Ron was found dead at her home in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, at approximately 4:54 PM on the 16th. An acquaintance, identified as Mr. A, who had planned to meet Kim Sae Ron, discovered her and reported it to the police.
A police official stated, "We are investigating the exact circumstances of her death. No evidence of external intrusion or criminal activity has been found, but we are currently examining the situation."
Born in July 2000, Kim Sae Ron first appeared as a cover model for the magazine Enfant in 2001 and gained attention for her cute looks. She made her lead-role debut in the 2009 film The Traveler.
The following year, she gained widespread recognition as a "child genius" after starring alongside Won Bin in The Man from Nowhere. She continued her career with films such as Doheeya, Snowy Road, and Neighborhood People, as well as dramas like Mirror of the Witch and Hunting Dogs.
Kim Sae Ron was signed under Gold Medalist from January 2020 to December 2022. However, her exclusive contract was terminated in May 2022 following a drunk driving incident.

At the time, she was caught driving under the influence, crashing into a tree and a transformer, causing significant damage, including a power outage in a commercial area. She was later charged with violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving) and was fined 20 million won.
