Singer Kahi has revealed the financial difficulties she faced after leaving the girl group After School.
In a recent appearance on the channel CGN on February 20, Kahi reflected on the challenging times she endured following her departure from the group.

During the interview, Kahi shared, "After leaving After School, I hit rock bottom completely. It was truly devastating. My agency couldn't take care of me, and I struggled financially."
Despite these hardships, she found strength through her faith. "As I took responsibility and tried to live as a person of God, I gradually became a better version of myself. That was when my life began to change significantly," she explained.

Recently, Kahi has embarked on a new challenge by opening a dance academy. She spoke about the struggles she faced while living in Bali, saying, "I wanted to start a dance academy, but it wasn’t possible due to environmental factors. While staying in Bali, I kept thinking, 'If I return to Korea, I can work, but as I grow older, my opportunities will decrease. What am I doing with my life?' These thoughts weighed on me every day, and I started feeling mentally exhausted."
Recalling a difficult period, Kahi mentioned, "I went through a tough time, but then my husband suddenly had to return to Korea. As soon as I arrived in Korea, I felt the urge to make my dreams a reality, and from that moment on, I fully committed myself to starting anew."
Born in 1980, Kahi debuted as a member of After School in 2009. She married a businessman in 2016, and the couple has two sons. After spending five years in Bali with her family, she returned to South Korea last year to pursue new opportunities.
