Marco was accused of domestic violence following the call his wife and pro-golfer An Si Hyun made to the police on the 9th. However, she called the police again on the 10th to reveal that she does not plan to press charges, and it's also been revealed that she and her husband are currently in the process of clearing the air and working things out.
Marco's camp responded, "Marco is currently working out his differences with his wife, An Si Hyun, and daughter at their house in Oksudong. Because of his schedule during that time, Marco was unable to spend quality time with his wife and daughter, leading to this incident."
"As this was all due to misunderstanding, Marco firmly believes that he needs to take time to clear up the misunderstanding and work to understand each other. His agency is also being of support by not contacting him so that he can focus on spending time with his family."
An Si Hyun called the police to report Marco's alleged domestic violence on the 9th. According to the police, their daughter accidentally soiled herself on the floor rather than the bathroom, leading An Si Hyun to ask Marco for a tissue, which ended up leading into a fight. According to An Si Hyun's initial call to the police, Marco grabbed her by the hair and hit her two times.
The couple tied the knot back in November 2011 and gave birth to their daughter in May 2012.
Marco will not be appearing on the June 11th filming of MBC's 'Find Delicious TV' to focus on resolving issues with his family.
