Singer Seo In Young is making headlines with her straightforward criticisms, as seen on the August 19th episode of �Mnet's 'Superstar K3'. Seo In Young was one of the judges on the panel and during Kim So Young's audition, Yoon Jong Shin asked So Young, "I think agencies will want you because you are pretty." He then asked, "Are you interested in being in a girl group?" Kim So Young answered, "I want to be a solo artist. I want to sing ballads." This caused Seo In Young to comment, "You're really pretty and likeable, but that's it. I don't think you can survive with just a pretty face these days." Responding to her frank statement, Yoon Jong Shin said, "That was a bit straightforward". When Kim So Young left the audition room, Seo In Young confessed, "There are so many people who are aspiring to be a solo artist. When I was training, I did whatever my agency told me to do." Seo In Young continued to give out blunt criticisms throughout the episode, such as "It's boring", "You have no charm", and "It just sounded like noise", scaring some of the nervous contestants.
