We reported yesterday that SS501 leader, Kim Hyun Joong who was stricken with the H1N1 virus on 6th September, would be returning to Korea on 16th September and here he is! Hyun Joong had been cleared by the doctors, of having recovered from the H1N1 virus on the 15th and was discharged from the hospital in Japan on the same day where he has been staying for the past week. Hyun Joong then took a morning flight from Japan on the 16th and touched down at Gimpo Airport in the afternoon, and was greeted by a horde of media personnel awaiting his arrival. As the first Korean celebrity to be hit by H1N1, many of Hyun Joong's fans were deeply worried about his health, with many turning up at the airport to welcome their idol back. Wearing a mask for precautionary measures, Hyun Joong was requested to take it down for interviews and he obliged. Hyun Joong looked visibly thinner and worn out from his ordeals and we hope that he will get back in tip-top condition for himself and his fans. Hyun Joong said in a quick interview that he had fully recovered and told his fans to take safety precautions against the H1N1 virus. DSP Media will not rush Hyun Joong back to work, as his next destination will be to check himself into a treatment center opened by his friend on Jeju Island.
