The Singing Girls have comeback with a new a single, a slightly different line-up and an announcement.
On the 27th of March, the group released the single and music video for 'Dream Of Star'.. With this release, the group's newest member, the maknae from Busan, Hajin was revealed.
The group also announced this would be the last song they would release under the name 'The Singing Girls' as soon they will start using the name 'Melody Pink'. They have already revealed the name of their upcoming single under this name: 'Hey U'.
The Singing Girls made their debut in 2017 with the release of I Like. Originally an indie project group centered around Kwon Aejin (a solo artist from KD Entertainment and Morningstar who made her debut in 2015), the group switched their line-up around for the second single. Where I Like was released by Kwon Aejin and Li-G, a solo artist from Deabak Entertainment who made hr debut in 2016, Still Like You featured Seo Sarang and Sanha from (disbanded group) Omyjewel.
With the release of Maybe Maybe, the group underwent changes in concept, purpose and line-up: the group became an idol group with a fixed line-up including none of the previous mentioned members.
This line-up did not last long however, as in the description box on 1theK's This Night performance video it was announced that the four members Jiyeon, Lahee, Eunbee and Senna had withdrawn from the group. Their vocals can still be heard on the official release, but the live video contains Bang Eunji, Aya (Hong Ahreum), Rookie (Kim Hyeoyeon) and Oh Hyein playbacking to the audio.
