Kwon Eun Bi, often dubbed the “Waterbomb Goddess,” revealed the story behind becoming the owner of a 2.4 billion KRW (approx. 1.8 million USD) building.

Appearing on the YouTube channel 'DNE comment "Hey, come here"' on April 21, Kwon Eun Bi confessed, “I shot a lot of commercials after the Waterbomb festival.”

Co-guest KCM responded in awe, saying, “You even bought a building. Filming all those ads and becoming a building owner. Wow.” When Kwon Eun Bi responded, “I was already making money before that,” Eunhyuk guessed, “Maybe like 70% of the total income came after Waterbomb and 30% before?”

Kwon Eun Bi agreed, explaining, “Yeah, I think it’s around the 70 to 30 ratio. There were many ads and events. But since I’m doing it all alone, I don’t have to split any of the earnings with anyone.”

Eunhyuk asked, “Even so, you still want to be in a group again?” To which Kwon Eun Bi replied, “Yes, because in the end, what stays with you as you get older are the people.”

Eunhyuk followed up by asking, “If you were given the choice again between group or solo activities, what would you pick?” Kwon Eun Bi answered, “I think I’d choose group activities. It was really fun. Right now, I’m doing everything alone, even eating meals by myself. It can get really lonely. When you’re in a team, there’s that sense of security. Just being together made me happy.”

KCM then posed a provocative question: “Let’s say in a group, you make just 100 KRW (0.07 USD), but as a solo, you make 100 million KRW (~70,000 USD). What would you choose?”

Donghae and Eunhyuk protested the extreme imbalance, with Donghae rephrasing,  “Okay, say you earn 5 million KRW (~3,500 USD) per event as a member of a group, but 50 million KRW (35,000 USD) solo - 10 times more.”

Kwon Eun Bi responded, “But if the group is IZ*ONE, right? Then I’d choose IZ*ONE.” She added, “In the end, it’s the people who remain. The money comes after.”

Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Kwon Eun Bi purchased a building near the café district in Songjeong-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, in March 2024 for 2.4 billion KRW (~1.8 million USD).
