RIIZE recently wrapped up their first-ever character pop-up store event, 'WE LITTLE RIIZE @RIIZE PARK', celebrating the one-year anniversary of their self-drawn mascot series ‘WE LITTLE RIIZE’ (a.k.a. RIRISE). Held from April 4th to 20th in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, the event attracted a staggering 12,000 fans over 17 days.
Fan interest was explosive from the start. The first week’s online reservations sold out within three minutes, and during the second week’s on-site registration period, over 1,000 people lined up before opening each day—turning the venue into an unexpected hotspot in Seongsu.
Styled like a theme park, the pop-up included various interactive zones and photo spots such as RIIZE-co’s flying chair, Songyongdori’s ball pit, Ourakbam’s punching machine, Tonyangduck’s bumper cars, Ddolbyung’s four-cut photo booth, and Meongryong’s mini Viking ride. Visitors also enjoyed surprise photo ops with mascot-sized RIRISE characters.
Merchandise flew off the shelves, with fan-favorite items like the ‘Long RIIZE Keyring’ selling out and the DIY artwork T-shirts restocked four times before completely selling out again. Fans continued to share their experiences with the hashtag #리라즈가_진짜_많네 (“There’s seriously so much RIRISE”), extending the buzz even after the event ended.
Meanwhile, RIIZE is in the final stages of preparing for their first full-length album, slated for release in May.
