Actor Kang Ha Neul radiated positivity during his appearance on the April 23rd episode of the tvN variety show 'You Quiz on the Block,' leaving viewers touched by his cheerful mindset.
Throughout the show, Kang candidly shared stories from his youth, revealing that acting wasn’t initially his dream. “I just wanted to work on stage,” he said, recounting how he enrolled at the Korean Traditional Arts High School. “It was a private school, and the tuition was expensive. But since I chose to go there myself, I didn’t feel right asking my parents to pay. So I started working part-time jobs—and honestly, I enjoyed them all.”
He brought laughter to the studio with stories from his longest-running part-time job: serving at a buffet. His lighthearted storytelling turned a tale of financial struggle into a moment of joy.
Kang also reminisced about his family’s frequent moves, describing a home always filled with packed bags and boxes. “I used to think that was normal until I started visiting my friends’ homes,” he laughed. “But to me, it was a fun experience. It felt like we were always ready to head off on an adventure. Some might think it was tough, but I don’t have many difficult memories. If you try to think positively, life really does feel lighter.”
With his heartfelt reflections and unwavering optimism, Kang Ha Neul once again proved why he’s one of Korea’s most beloved and grounded stars.
