The late actress Sulli’s brother has come forward, claiming that actor Kim Soo Hyun attended her funeral, adding that his presence felt more obligatory than sincere.
In a live broadcast on March 31st KST, following Kim Soo Hyun’s press conference, Sulli’s older brother expressed his frustration. “Kim Soo Hyun did come to my sister’s funeral,” he said. “But I wondered if he had any real authority. He seemed like someone who was just doing what he was told.”
He added, “It felt like he was uncomfortable, like someone had sent him there. The funeral hall was in the basement, so not many people saw him. No fans were allowed in, and there were over 20 bodyguards. Why would that kind of space make him uncomfortable?”
When asked by fans why Sulli took part in the controversial film ‘Real’, her brother responded, “I don’t know why she agreed to do it. Where was the body double? Was there even one? Why did director Lee Jung Sub leave the project? It’s all incredibly frustrating.”
Previously, Sulli’s family told media on March 28th that despite the existence of a body double during ‘Real’’s filming in 2017, Sulli was pressured into performing bed scenes herself. The family has demanded a full investigation into the matter.
