The Boyz recently revealed that they will be making their comeback with their third full album.
The Boyz’s third full album, 'Unexpected', set to be released on March 17, is an album that captures the unpredictable charm of the group, as the title suggests.
After the album announcement, The Boyz presented three different youthful concepts through various teaser contents, and they shared their thoughts and feelings ahead of the release through their agency, One Hundred.

Here is a Q&A with THE BOYZ:
Q1. This is your first album since joining the new agency. How do you feel about your comeback?
Sang Yeon: "Since this album is being released under a new agency, it has great meaning. We worked really hard, so please look forward to it. I’m so thankful to the fans, and I’m happy to show a new side of ourselves."
Kevin: "There were both worries and excitement, but during the preparation process, I could feel that all the members were sincere about the music. So even with the short preparation time, I wasn’t worried, and it was really fun."
New: "I’m truly grateful that our fans, The B, have always waited and supported us. I don’t think the release of this third full album 'Unexpected' would have been possible without The B. Thank you so much!" ♥
Sun Woo: "A new start is always exciting. I felt it was fun to create new music with people who look at us from a fresh perspective. Please look forward to 'Unexpected', our third full album."
Eric: "I’m really grateful that we can show THE BOYZ’s next chapter. Since this is our first album after joining a new agency and it’s a full album, I believe there will be a lot of attention and expectations. We’ll work hard to meet those expectations and will return with more diverse and developed music."
Q2. Could you introduce the third full album 'Unexpected' and the title track 'VVV'?
Sang Yeon: "This is a genre we haven’t tried before during our activities. The music video and performance with a boxing concept are really cool. The melody is addictive, so I think many people will experience something new with this title track."
Jacob: "As the title suggests, it’s something unexpected, and we wanted to show these kinds of sides of ourselves. That’s why we decided to name it 'Unexpected'! The new title track 'VVV' is a really hopeful and exciting song, so please enjoy it a lot!"
Q3. Is there a killing part or point choreography in this title track?
Ju Yeon: "The chorus part, 'WOO', is easy to sing along to, and the choreography is impressive. I think this part is the killing part."
Q: "The main concept of the choreography is boxing, so it would be great if you pay attention to the boxing moves in the middle of the performance!"
Q4. Can you share any behind-the-scenes episodes from the music video shoot or album production process?
Kevin: "From January to March, we continuously worked on the jacket photos, teasers, and music video shoots. It was really cold during that time, so the shooting location was quite chilly. Especially when we filmed outdoors in Incheon, I remember us all huddling together like penguins to keep warm."
Ju Hak Nyeon: "The preparation period was shorter than expected, so there were many challenging parts, but I think this is truly an album made with everyone giving their best, both the members and the staff. I have vivid memories of working hard every day!"
Q5. This is your first full album after joining a new agency. Were there any feelings of responsibility or pressure regarding the format of a full album, and why did you choose to release a full album?
Sun Woo: "I think our biggest motivation was wanting to create another big memory with THE BOYZ as a whole. So, rather than feeling pressure, we focused on enjoying it more."
Eric: "Since this is our first full album after joining the new agency, I had more expectations than pressure. I wanted to show the fans a well-crafted album, and that’s why we decided to release a full album."
Q6. Sang Yeon, you’ll be enlisting in the military before the comeback. Do you have any words for your members, and what personal regrets do you have?
Sang Yeon: "I’m a bit sad that I won’t be able to join the music shows with the members, but I think the members will fill the gap and show a great performance. Go for it, members!"
Q7. If you had to sum up this album in one keyword, what would it be? And why?
Hyun Jae: "I think the keyword for this third full album is ‘Last Youth’. If you listen to the album, I’m sure you’ll understand what I mean by that."
New: "I think it’s ‘Rainbow’. It feels like we’ve created a piece of work where various elements come together harmoniously. I hope that many people feel good when they listen to it."
Q8. What kind of evaluation do you hope to receive from the public and fans through this album?
Young Hoon: "I want to prove that no matter what concept it is, THE BOYZ can pull it off!"
Ju Hak Nyeon: "I want to be evaluated as a ‘fan-focused’ group. I really want to give fans the feeling that THE BOYZ always thinks of them!"
Q9. Final thoughts and a message to The B.
Jacob: "I’m really happy that we could show this album to you faster than expected, and thank you to The B for always supporting us. The B, please continue to support us in this comeback!"
Young Hoon: "The B~ You’ve waited so long, right? I think we can prepare and come back like this because we have The B. All our efforts are possible because of you! Thank you and love you a lot!" ♥
Hyun Jae: "THE BOYZ is making a comeback with our third full album 'Unexpected'. Please show a lot of love and attention to the album, and The B, let’s run together!!"
Ju Yeon: "Thank you for supporting our new beginning and showing us so much love and attention. Please remember that we always sincerely support you. Thank you."
Q: "The B! Thank you for supporting us again for this album, and let’s make precious and enjoyable memories together! Thank you for always being by THE BOYZ’s side!"
Ju Hak Nyeon: "Even though the time was tight to release this album as a full group, everyone worked really hard with one heart and one mind. The B, please listen to it a lot!"
