Jennie successfully wrapped up her first solo concert, but opinions remain divided among fans and critics.
On March 15, Jennie held ‘The Ruby Experience’ at Inspire Arena, celebrating the release of her first full-length solo album ‘Ruby’. The concert was particularly significant as it marked her first solo performance in Korea, featuring a full live set of all 15 tracks from the album.
Opening with ‘Intro: JANE with FKJ’ and ‘start a war’, Jennie seamlessly transitioned through performances of ‘Handlebars’, ‘Mantra’, ‘Love Hangover’, ‘ZEN’, ‘Damn Right’, and more. The music video for ‘Seoul City’ was also premiered right after the song’s performance. She later delivered the title tracks ‘like JENNIE’ and ‘with the IE (way up)’, followed by ‘ExtraL’, before taking a brief emotional moment to address her fans. She then wrapped up with ‘F.T.S’ and ‘Filter’, before returning for an encore of ‘Starlight’ and ‘twin’.

Despite the high-energy show, some attendees expressed disappointment, pointing out that the concert ran for only 75 minutes, significantly shorter than the originally advertised 120-minute runtime. The limited fan interaction, lasting only about 5 to 10 minutes, was also noted as a drawback.
Ticket prices also became a topic of debate, with Ruby seats priced at approximately 165 USD, R seats at 125 USD, S seats at 115 USD, and A seats at 107 USD. Critics argued that the ticket cost was not justified by the concert’s length.
However, many fans who attended defended the show, praising the extravagant performances and stating that the experience was well worth the price. The discussion continues as Jennie embarks on her solo career with a strong but controversial debut concert.
