On March 19th KST, G-Dragon shared a cryptic message on his personal account, posting “괜찮아 (It’s okay)" along with a video of himself smiling and dancing energetically.

Earlier, on March 13th, a Taiwanese entertainment account conducted a poll asking whether Kim Soo Hyun should:

• Leave MBC’s ‘Good Day’,

• Retire from the entertainment industry, or

• Continue despite the controversy.

One of the response options also referenced G-Dragon, stating “G-Dragon must be struggling”, implying that he may be indirectly affected by the situation.

G-Dragon initially liked the post, which quickly fueled speculation that he was subtly distancing himself from Kim Soo Hyun. However, after the discussion gained traction online, he retracted the like, possibly in an effort to avoid controversy.

Meanwhile, MBC’s ‘Good Day’ production team released an official statement, acknowledging the seriousness of the situation:

• “We are closely monitoring public sentiment and will proceed with production accordingly.”

• “Kim Soo Hyun’s appearances will be minimized through editing as much as possible.”

As the controversy unfolds, G-Dragon’s brief social media interaction has only added to the growing public scrutiny surrounding Kim Soo Hyun’s ongoing scandal.
