Choreographer Monika Shin (38, real name Shin Jung Woo) has announced her marriage and pregnancy at the same time.

On December 20, Monika shared the joyful news on her social media, saying, “A truly happy and precious miracle has come to me.” She added, “I met someone I love and we have promised to spend the rest of our lives together. He is someone who does not stand in front of the public but quietly lives his life in his own space. While he may seem ordinary, to me, he is more special than anyone else.”

She continued, “Another miracle that will deepen our love — a precious life — has come to us. I have received so much love and support from all of you, and I am deeply grateful. For a long time, I wondered how I should deliver this news. After much thought, I gathered the courage, inspired by all your warm support, to share it with you.”

Monika expressed her gratitude, saying, “I am so happy to be able to share this miraculous moment of happiness with you. I sincerely thank everyone who has always supported me with warmth. I hope you will continue to send your love and blessings to me and my family in the future.”

She also reassured her fans about her career, saying, “If anyone is worried that I might neglect my activities, please don’t be. I am confident that this new chapter in my life will inspire my dance and artistic work with deeper and stronger passion. My love and passion for dance will continue as always.”

Monika is the leader of the dance crew PROWDMON and gained massive popularity after appearing on Mnet’s dance competition program 'Street Woman Fighter' in 2021. She has also been active on the Wavve variety show 'The Queen Bee Game' recently.
