BB Girls originally debuted under the name Brave Girls in 2011. However, the original lineup disbanded following limited success. In 2016, the group's producer, Brave Brothers, reformed the band with new members Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna.
The revamped lineup faced similar challenges until their 2017 song 'Rollin' went viral on YouTube in early 2021, catapulting them to stardom. The group rebranded as BB Girls under Warner Music Korea in May 2023. Member Yujeong departed in April this year, leaving the group with three remaining members.
The new partnership with GLG marks a fresh chapter for BB Girls as they continue their journey in the music industry.
