BIG OCEAN will kick off a series of promotions in the U.S. starting on the 11th (local time) in celebration of the release of their first mini album ‘Follow’ on the 12th at noon. The group plans to visit iconic New York landmarks such as the Empire State Building, Times Square, and Central Park to spend special moments with local fans.
Additionally, from the 14th to the 17th, Big Ocean will attend ‘Cool Out 2024’ in the Cayman Islands, where they will showcase the first live performance of their song ‘FLOW.’
‘Cool Out 2024’ is an event that fosters collaboration between creative artists and the financial and IT sectors, while also facilitating discussions on promoting a healthy marine ecosystem. As a team embodying ‘ocean-like inclusiveness and potential,’ Big Ocean will engage in sea conservation activities such as releasing sea turtles and visiting a stingray sanctuary, and will connect with fans through two performances.
Through their agency Parastar Entertainment, Big Ocean shared their excitement about meeting their U.S. fans, saying, “When we held fan calls, there were many fans from the U.S. We do wonder, ‘Will we be able to communicate well in real time?’ and ‘Will they like us in person?’ but our anticipation is greater, and we can’t wait to meet them. We want to sincerely thank the fans (Wave) who have supported us to reach this point, and we’d love to give each of you a hug.”
The title track ‘FLOW’ is an English song produced by Mark Batson. ‘FLOW’ introduces the new genre ‘Free-soul POP,’ which embodies the message of finding happiness through music made ‘entirely for oneself.’
