The band DAY6 will be performing at Gocheok Sky Dome this December.
On November 11 KST, JYP Entertainment posted an official poster on its channels, announcing that the ‘2024 DAY6 Special Concert ‘The Present’’ will take place at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro District, Seoul. Celebrating their 10th anniversary, DAY6 is set to make history as the first K-pop band to perform at South Korea’s largest indoor venue, Gocheok Sky Dome, marking a milestone in their career.
Following a three-year hiatus, DAY6 returned as a complete group with the release of ‘Welcome to the Show’ and its concert of the same name. Now, they’re launching the third world tour, ‘FOREVER YOUNG’, their first in over four years, which will lead up to the year-end ‘2024 DAY6 Special Concert ‘The Present’’. These high-quality concerts have been crafted to delight fans.
Notably, their growth is evident with sold-out shows: April’s performance at Seoul’s Jamsil Indoor Stadium for 34,000 fans and September’s 40,000 seats at Incheon’s Inspire Arena, leading to their upcoming December show at Gocheok Sky Dome.
This concert continues DAY6’s annual special holiday concerts. In December 2023, after completing their military service, members Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon held the ‘DAY6 Christmas Special Concert ‘The Present: You Are My Day’’ as a heartfelt thanks to fans who waited during their hiatus. With the ‘2024 DAY6 Special Concert ‘The Present’’, DAY6 will end 2024 on a high note with their fans.
Ticket pre-sales for My Day (DAY6’s fan club) begin on November 19 from 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m., followed by general sales on November 20 at 8 p.m. Further details, including ticketing information, will be shared on DAY6’s official social media channels.
Meanwhile, DAY6 is currently holding their third world tour to enthusiastic reception, with sold-out performances in Incheon, Kuala Lumpur, Bali, Surabaya, and Jakarta. Upcoming concerts in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and New York have also sold out. The tour will continue with shows in Singapore (Nov. 22), Bangkok (Nov. 30–Dec. 1), Kaohsiung (Jan. 18), Hong Kong (Jan. 25–26), Osaka (Feb. 12–13), Tokyo (Feb. 15–16), Manila (Feb. 22), Sydney (Apr. 6), Melbourne (Apr. 9), Auckland (Apr. 12), Los Angeles (Apr. 16–17), and New York (Apr. 19), creating unforgettable memories with their global fans.
