CRAVITY shines on ‘Road to Kingdom 2’ with stellar performances.
The nine-member group CRAVITY has emerged as a strong contender for victory on Mnet’s idol competition show, "Road to Kingdom: Ace to Ace" (Road to Kingdom 2). Competing fiercely against six other boy groups with a focus on their stage performances alone, CRAVITY has been showing impressive teamwork and skill, earning them a chance at reevaluation four years after their debut.
Road to Kingdom 2 aims to “highlight K-pop boy groups with both talent and potential,” ultimately crowning one group as the final winner. Alongside CRAVITY, groups The Crew One, E’LAST, ONEUS, YOUNITE, and TEMPEST are also competing. The New Six was eliminated during the second round aired on October 17th KST.
CRAVITY has consistently held the top spot in the “team battle” category up to the recently aired third round, demonstrating remarkable teamwork. In the “ace battle” category, which features the standout members from each group, they have maintained strong results, ranking third in the first round and second in the second round.
With these performances, CRAVITY has redeemed their initial setback in the first episode’s “evaluation round,” where they placed last despite high expectations and being viewed as a team to watch. Since the start of the actual competition, CRAVITY has risen significantly in rankings, showcasing intricate stage setups and their signature synchronized choreography, creating a compelling comeback narrative.
Thanks to their dedicated fanbase, CRAVITY’s performances on Road to Kingdom 2 have been drawing major attention. Each of their stages, including "Love or Die", "Sugar Rush Ride", and "Addicted", surpassed 500,000 views on YouTube shortly after release. CRAVITY now continues to compete for one of the five coveted spots in the final round.
