Chef Choi Hyun Seok hints at plans for ‘Culinary Class War’ season 2.
Chef Choi Hyun Seok is drawing attention with his comments about a potential second season of Culinary Class War. Known for his role as a star chef, Choi also has a friendly yet playful rivalry with fellow chef Ahn Sung Jae, who served as a judge on the show. Choi is expected to share an amusing story about being humorously “dissed” by Ahn.
On the October 30th KST episode of MBC’s 'Radio Star', Choi will appear alongside guests Milanonna, Kwon Yool, and Im Woo Il in a special titled “Global Culinary Masters.” After his recent appearance as a challenger on Netflix’s Culinary Class War, Choi’s popularity has soared to a “world-class” level, solidifying his status as a prominent chef.
Despite receiving numerous offers, Choi specifically chose Radio Star for his latest appearance, where he’ll share a variety of behind-the-scenes stories from Culinary Class War. When asked if he would participate in a second season, Choi humorously states he wouldn’t return as a challenger but hints at a different role he’d consider, sparking laughter from the audience. He will also reveal a funny mishap involving his signature “vongole pasta” on the show, where he accidentally left out the garlic, adding to viewers’ anticipation.
In addition, Choi is expected to share the backstory of closing his restaurant for 45 days prior to the show. What kind of “declaration” has he made for season 2? Choi’s global flair and lively stories will be showcased on Radio Star, airing tonight (October 30th KST) at 10:30 PM.
