Song Kang Ho and Park Jung Min team up for the volleyball-themed film ‘One Win’.
Set to release in December, 'One Win' is South Korea’s film, capturing the story of a professional women’s volleyball team with a near-zero chance of victory. With a coach who’s never experienced a win, a team owner with no plans to win, and players who don’t know how to win, this team takes on an unexpected journey to secure just one win.
Song Kang Ho stars as Kim Woo Jin, a volleyball coach with a career win rate under 10%, armed with theory but lacking in victories. Park Jung Min plays Kang Jung Won, the team owner who knows little about volleyball yet draws attention with his knack for self-promotion.
Song Kang Ho praised Park, saying, “From his debut in 'Bleak Night', I haven’t missed a film of his. He’s incredibly talented, bringing depth and his unique interpretation to every role.” Park Jung Min responded, “It’s unreal to have the chance to work with him. Saying I respect him feels like an understatement.” With both actors expressing admiration and respect, their on-screen chemistry is highly anticipated.
Reflecting on their first collaboration, Song shared, “As a fan of Park Jung Min, it was truly a joy.” Park added, “I did my best not to fall short. Just watching him act on set taught me so much.”
