Set to be the 'youngest sibling' and latest girl group at HYBE LABELS and BELIFT LAB, ILLIT graces Acne Studios' SS24 global campaign as the new K-Pop trendsetter even before their official debut. ILLIT, consisting of YUNAH, MINJU, MOKA, WONHEE, and IROHA, is set to debut on March 25 with their 1st mini-album, 'SUPER REAL ME.'
The campaign follows ILLIT’s front-row appearance at the Acne Studios FW24 catwalk show in Paris on February 28. On featuring ILLIT in the campaign, Acne Studios Creative Director Jonny Johansson said, “Music is a big part of my life and often inspires me; music and fashion are so intertwined. Right now, it is all about K-Pop. We loved the idea of working with a band from the start of their career and growing with them. We have always supported and championed up-and-coming talents, so this felt like the right way to go about it for a new generation.”
ILLIT expressed excitement, saying, “It is such an honor to work with a global fashion house like Acne Studios even before our official debut. We’re very excited to see how the campaign will be received, and we hope our chemistry will highlight the best sides of both ILLIT and Acne Studios.”
As the third girl group to debut under HYBE LABELS following LE SSERAFIM and NewJeans, and the first girl group under BELIFT LAB—home to the K-Pop powerhouse ENHYPEN—anticipation continues to heighten for the new group.
Does HYBE want them to be models or idols? They’ve done more campaigns than music releases… and the most talented people from R U Next are not debuting. Such a dull group
