On August 17, the civil division of the Seoul Northern District Court ruled that the effectiveness of the exclusive contract between BlockBerry Creative and former LOONA member Chuu (Kim Ji Woo, 24) has been nullified. 

BlockBerry Creative will be required to cover all fees involved by both sides in the lawsuit. 

Previously in January of 2022, Chuu filed for an injunction with the Seoul District Court to nullify the effectiveness of her exclusive contract with BlockBerry Creative, citing reasons such as issues over payments and balances and loss of trust. The injunction was approved and initiated, allowing Chuu to sign with a new agency, ATRP, in order to resume her entertainment activities. 

All other members of LOONA have also gone on to join different agencies after filing injunctions to have their contracts with BlockBerry Creative nullified.
