Former AB6IX member and former 'Produce 101' season 2 contestant Lim Young Min has confirmed his return to the music scene with teasers for his 1st solo EP, 'Room'. 

Lim Young Min, who first became publicly known as a contestant on Mnet's 'Produce 101' season 2, finished the survival program in 15th place, falling just a few spots short of the debut cut off rank. Afterward, he made his official debut as a member of the duo MXM with fellow 'Produce 101' season 2 contestant Kim Dong Hyun in September of 2017, before eventually re-debuting as a member of AB6IX in May of 2019. 

In May of 2020, Lim Young Min was found driving under the influence after attending a drinking gathering with acquaintances. The issue led him to announce his departure from AB6IX in June of that year, and Lim Young Min enlisted for his mandatory military service a short while later. 

Three years have passed since Lim Young Min's drunk driving incident, and now the musician plans on kicking off his solo career later this month with the release of 'Room', scheduled to drop on August 29 at 6 PM KST.
