Actress Park Han Byul will be returning to the big screen for the first time in 6 years.
On April 10 KST, Park Han Byul's label Chan Entertainment confirmed the actress's casting in the film 'Karma', directed by Han Jong Hoon. Park Han Byul is set to play the role of a documentary PD whose works deals with the lives of crime victims.
After a series of initial releases at film festivals later this year, 'Karma' will premiere in theaters in 2026.
Meanwhile, Park Han Byul recently resumed her entertainment activities after a 6-year hiatus, after her husband, Yoo In Suk of Yuri Holdings, became wrapped up in the 'Burning Sun' scandal in 2019. Yoo In Suk was eventually found guilty of charges such as solicitation of prostitution, embezzlement, and other charges and sentenced to a year and 8 months in prison, deferred by a probationary period of 3 years.
