Former After School member and actress Nana criticized The Boyz's Sunwoo over his recent attitude controversy.
A video that sparked controversy about The Boyz member Sunwoo’s behavior was recently uploaded to an online community.
In the video, Sunwoo is seen walking toward an elevator when he drops his AirPods. As he enters the elevator, he shouts, “My AirPod!” A security guard behind him immediately runs to pick it up and hands it to him. Although the guard offered it with both hands, Sunwoo took it with just one hand without even expressing gratitude.
After the video was released, netizens criticized Sunwoo for not picking up the AirPod himself, shouting “My AirPod” instead and waiting for the guard to retrieve it. They also pointed out that he took it with one hand and didn’t express thanks. Nana also commented on the video, saying, “He needs to be scolded,” delivering a sharp remark.

Sunwoo addressed the issue as the controversy grew through a fan communication platform. He said, “Everyone kept talking about the AirPod, so I looked up the video. Honestly, it really does look like I just took it without even greeting or showing any manners,” acknowledging that the video could be seen as problematic.
He explained, “A fan shouted something at that moment, and I was confused because I didn’t know what had fallen. I later realized it was my AirPod and looked around before receiving it from the person who picked it up. I did say ‘thank you’ without bowing my head.” He added, “I know I can’t keep explaining everything like this forever, but I admit that it was also my fault for making it appear that way,” and promised, “I’ll behave better so these kinds of misunderstandings don’t happen again.”
