According to a report by Star News on the 11th, Momoko Arata has officially been added to the 'SNL Korea' Season 7 cast. She participated in the recent recording with guest star Seo Ye Ji, working alongside the established crew.
Arata first gained recognition in Japan for her role in the 2022-2023 Japanese drama 'Avataro Sentai Donbrothers,' and while she has mainly worked in Japan, she is fluent in Korean. A known fan of the popular K-pop group Big Bang, Arata has been praised for her strong connection to Korean culture. She has garnered a following in Korea, where she has been active on social media, often communicating in Korean. Having lived in Korea recently to explore opportunities, Arata’s inclusion in the 'SNL Korea' cast has created excitement about her upcoming performance.
Arata's role as the only foreign cast member in Season 7 has sparked curiosity about what kind of characters she will portray.
