A suspect has been apprehended following a burglary at the home of television personality Park Na Rae.
On April 14, E&P Company, which manages Park Na Rae’s publicity, released an official statement confirming the burglary suspect's arrest.
A representative stated, “We would like to provide an update on the recent burglary incident at Park Na Rae’s home. Believing it to be a break-in by an outsider, we reported the matter to the police on April 8 and submitted the home’s CCTV footage for investigation. The police were able to identify the suspect and have since apprehended the individual. It appears that a warrant for arrest has already been issued. We are relieved and grateful for the swift efforts of the investigation team.”
They continued, “Some speculated that the incident may have been an inside job, but we want to make it clear that this is not true. We kindly ask the media to refrain from reporting unverified information. Additionally, baseless false rumors are being recklessly spread through online communities and social media. We will take strong legal action against such misinformation without any leniency.”
Park Na Rae discovered the burglary on April 8 and reported it to the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul later that afternoon. The value of the stolen items is estimated to be in the tens of millions of KRW.
