On April 14, GQ Korea revealed Kim Jong Kook's pictorial for GQ Sports, where he showed off his muscles and also shared about his eating habits. On this day, GQ Korea also uploaded a video titled, "Workout Complete – A Peek Into ‘Gym Jong Kook’ Kim Jong Kook’s Gym Bag Full of Fitness Vibes.”
In the pictorial, Kim Jong Kook showed off his stunning muscles as he participated in the magazine's celebration of the second collaboration between Ironstein and Adidas. The pictorial captured Kim Jong Kook's workout moments in the Ironstein x Adidas sportswear.

In the video, Kim Jong Kook commented on his previously made statement, “Working out includes eating,” and surprised viewers by saying, “Lately, I’ve been eating a lot of hamburgers. There's this misconception that burgers are bad for your health or diet. But I personally buy and eat McDonald’s ‘Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese’ every day on my way home from the gym.”
He went on to explain, “I think it’s fine for those doing weight training and trying to build a lot of muscle. Apparently, it contains 50 grams of protein. We’re obsessed with protein intake. The burger is clean, just two patties with 50 grams of protein and a few pickles, no unnecessary extras.”
He added, “Of course, eating it every day might not be ideal, but if you're unsure how to get your protein after a workout, it might help you quickly meet your protein needs.” He also advised viewers to “eat a variety of things.”

When his condition is low, he said he enjoys eating pasta.
Kim Jong Kook explained, “Pasta doesn’t cause blood sugar spikes and is actually really helpful for people on a diet. But not rosé pasta—stick to simple oil-based pasta. The noodles aren’t just plain flour; they’re packed with protein. From what I know, one serving of pasta contains about 20 grams of protein,” strongly recommending it.
He also shared, “When I’m really drained, I mix rice into eel soup and devour it all, soup and everything.”
