Actress Seo Ye Ji made a witty and refreshing appearance on the fan communication platform Bubble, turning negativity into something smart and light-hearted.
On April 15, she shared a series of four-character idioms that sound like Korean curse words — but actually carry thoughtful, meaningful interpretations.

One of the idioms she posted was 雅惡時發 (아오시발). While the pronunciation resembles a common Korean expletive, Seo explained it as:“It’s a time to calmly express even the feelings of resentment.”
Another, 埋逸至刺 (매일지랄), sounded like another harsh phrase but came with an unexpected twist:“Comfort can lead to laziness, and laziness to failure.”
To reassure fans who might be surprised, she added with a laugh, “Haha, it’s not a curse word… really!”
Seo shared that when she feels angry, she reads things like this to herself, using humor and language to help process her emotions. Her messages resonated with fans because they were both witty and empowering.
By turning what could have been a moment of frustration into something thoughtful and funny, Seo Ye Ji showed that even negativity can be transformed with the right words and a sense of humor.
