Cheerleader Lee Joo Eun, who rose to viral fame with the "Ppikki Ppikki Dance," has officially joined the cheer squad for the LG Twins.
On April 10, LG Twins' official social media posted a photo of Lee Joo Eun in the team’s uniform along with a message from her. She wrote, "Hello, I’m cheerleader Lee Joo Eun, cheering for LG in the 2025 season. I’ll do my best this season and cheer passionately until the day LG wins the championship. Let’s go, LG Twins!”

Previously, Lee Joo Eun was part of the KIA Tigers’ cheer squad in the KBO League. She gained attention when she was caught on camera casually fixing her makeup in the stands, but then instantly got up and danced the moment the "Ppikki Ppikki Out Song" came on. Her performance quickly went viral, sparking a trend of people mimicking the dance. Her popularity skyrocketed, even surpassing 1 million followers on her social media, earning her “syndrome-level” popularity.
Lee Joo Eun initially stirred disappointment among Korean fans when news broke that she had signed up with the Taiwanese baseball team, the Fubon Guardians, as part of the cheer team. However, according to local media, she is expected to split her time between Korea and Taiwan, continuing her activities in both countries.
Meanwhile, Taiwanese media outlets such as TVBS reported that Lee Joo Eun received a signing bonus of 10 million Taiwanese dollars (approximately 309,425 USD) from Fubon Guardians, an amount exceeding the average salary of professional baseball players in Taiwan, drawing widespread attention.
