SM Entertainment will be launching its first IP collaboration with its parent company, Kakao, by revealing the NCT universe-based webtoon 'NCT: Dream Contact'.

The webtoon will be released on Kakao Page on August 18 at 10 PM KST. It is based off of the NCT universe, where 'dreams' and 'music' merge to form a connection between the members of NCT. The storytelling will feature an omnibus format, with each character overcoming his fears through experiences in both the dream world and the real world. 'NCT: Dream Contact' will be written and illustrated by ZQ, Kim Ho Ae, and Seo Geul. 

Additionally, SM has partnered up with Kakao Page for a web novel centered around rookie boy group RIIZE. Titled 'Rise & Realize', the web novel tells the stories of 7 characters based off of the members of RIIZE. The story is written by Kim Ho Ae and illustrated by NAKDI and Nogohn. RIIZE's very own web novel will be released on Kakao Page on August 19.
