Anticipation of Big Hit Music's upcoming boy group continues to grow as close-ups of the members' faces were revealed.
Earlier last month, the agency's newest boy group was spotted in Los Angeles, California. On March 26, photos allegedly showing the new boy group filming their jacket shoot surfaced online. Based on the images, the group sports a casual yet sporty style, dressed in jerseys and leather vests.
On April 3, close-up photos of the members' faces began circulating online, sparking debate across various popular communities. While fans expressed excitement, some netizens voiced concerns that the member's gaze gave off a "delinquent" vibe.
They commented:
"They seriously look like they’re going to cause a disastrous controversy."
"The first and last members' gaze is too scary."
"Even if Big Hit has already decided on their debut, if their personality is terrible or they get caught up in a controversy, they’ll disband them. TXT also had two groups scrapped before debut, and Yeonjun, who was originally the youngest, was the only one who survived and debuted as the oldest. The next potential group, Trainee A, also had issues, so they disbanded even after filming content. If these guys make it to debut, that means they didn’t get caught in any scandals or have personality issues during their trainee period."
"Is this a hip-hop group...?"
"We’ll have to wait until they debut… Even BTS started as a hip-hop group."
"Oh wow, they seriously look like they won’t listen at all."
"Big Hit will probably manage them well and debut them properly."
"For five whole seconds, I seriously thought they were BOYNEXTDOOR."
"Seeing how they already have a ton of crazy accusations even before debut, they’ll probably be successful."
"It’s the first time a soft-looking member actually stands out more."
