However, her life comes crashing down after a betrayal by the very people she trusted most.
Regarding her role in the drama, Hahm Eun Jung shared, “Unlike my previous roles, ‘Queen's House’ revolves around the pain of betrayal and the descent into revenge. Its fast-paced storyline feels different from the typical daily drama, which I found intriguing. I believe viewers will enjoy this chance to see a different side of me.”
The cast lineup joining Hahm Eun Jung has also drawn attention. Park Yoon Jae plays Hwang Ki Chan, Jae In’s husband and director of YL Group’s strategic planning team. Lee Ga Ryeong plays Jae In’s close friend Kang Se Ri. Though Ki Chan appears to be the perfect husband, he falls into a forbidden romance with Se Ri, placing himself at the heart of the conflict. Meanwhile, Se Ri, driven by twisted envy, distorted admiration, and vanity, sets her sights on taking everything away from Jae In.

Shocked by this betrayal, Jae In briefly falters but soon fights to reclaim her life, transforming into a vengeful force. As Ki Chan’s true motives for marrying Jae In and Se Ri’s warped desires are laid bare, the drama’s tension intensifies.
Seo Jun Young also joins the cast as Kim Do Yoon, a renowned thoracic surgeon at Korea University Hospital who embarks on a path of revenge following a shocking event. Regarding his character, Seo Jun Young said, “Do Yoon decides to take revenge due to a certain incident, and his decisive, soda-like personality makes him appealing.” He added, “He has to hide his vengeful nature behind a composed exterior, so I’m preparing diligently to portray him convincingly.”
