On the morning of May 23 KST, cast members Lee Hyori, Kim Wan Sun, Uhm Jung Hwa, BoA, and MAMAMOO's Hwa Sa attended a press conference for the premiere of their new tvN reality series, 'Dancing Queens on the Road'.
Here, Lee Hyori described the program by stating, "At first, it was supposed to be small-scale shows in rural regions. But then the scale became much bigger. The stage became big and fancy, and it turned out, we were more popular than we thought. So it has been a little exhausting."
The singer then remarked, "There are many people who are looking forward to our glamorous, past days, and so we hope to try our best to meet those expectations."
Meanwhile, Hwa Sa opened up on this day about how her experience on 'Dancing Queens on the Road' has changed her outlook. She said, "I found myself forgetting what it's like to have fun on stage. As someone who loves being on stage, I don't know how it happened. I was asked to be on this program at such a time when I was going through some transition. And thanks to this program, I am finding my old self again. I'm so happy now. I think if I hadn't been on this program, I might have been lost somewhere deep in the mountains, cultivating my morals."
Finally, Lee Hyori briefly mentioned the possibility of her comeback as a singer. "If there is a good song, I think I would like to try," the legendary soloist shared.
tvN's 'Dancing Queens on the Road' premieres later this week on May 25 at 10:30 PM KST.
