Jimin's schedule has been fully packed ever since the announcement of the commencement of solo projects for the members of BTS, as the group went on hiatus. He has had numerous activities to show, ranging from music collaborations to brand endorsements for some of the biggest brands in the world, and gracing numerous magazine covers for highly reputable magazines, to mention a few. So far, since the beginning of 2023, Jimin has adorned the covers of 7 magazines, as shown below, the latest being Vogue Korea as the eighth cover.

On March 7, Vogue Korea announced that Jimin would be on the cover of the magazine's April issue, describing him as "Delicate yet powerful, shy yet daring, Jimin does nothing but fill everyone's mind with happiness".

For this April issue, there would be 3 different covers, with the magazine volume being 30 pages of pictorials and interviews in multiple languages.

The interviews would allow fans to have a look into Jimin's mind ahead of his first solo album's release. Jimin has always fascinated fans with the concepts he comes up with for things like photoshoots/photofolio and for his solo stages, so fans were eager to see what he had in store this time.

This, along with the fact that his visuals were absolutely breathtaking and god-like on all three of the covers as unveiled by Vogue Korea, drove up the adrenaline, and fans could not wait to get their hands on a copy of the magazine. 

As such, just a few hours following the opening of pre-orders for the magazine covers, all three of the covers took up the top three spots of the bestsellers in three of the biggest bookstores in South Korea, namely Kyobo, Aladin, and Yes24.

Jimin's 3 covers completely dominated the bestseller lists in different categories, such as real-time, daily, weekly, monthly, and new releases, showing his massive popularity and immeasurable brand power.

Below are the specific bestseller spots that the three covers took up on the three different e-commerce platforms, namely Aladin, Kyobo and Yes24.

The high sale volumes were to be expected as Jimin has always had a great pull on consumers, getting them interested in anything he is associated with. Given that this time he technically was the magazine itself, interest would be that much higher!

When the covers were unveiled, he took over Twitter trends around the world, registering trends in countries like the USA and South Korea, as well as occupying the Top 2 Worldwide trends, 

These trends quickly came up as fans reacted to the covers, praising Jimin's mesmerizing beauty, his ability to look good in everything he wears, the way he advertises products but still manages to make them look so natural and not like an advert, and so much more.

Jimin had previously had another interview with Vogue Korea, where the magazine once again emphasized his uniqueness, that " Jimin is truly one of a kind," and that "it is impossible to forget him after seeing him and hearing him sing..."

Jimin is a star that continues to shine even brighter during his solo projects, and fans simply can't get enough of it!
