Girls' Generation's Taeyeon tests positive for COVID-19

Taeyeon has tested positive for COVID-19.

On November 14 KST, SM Entertainment took to her official fan community, writing that the Girls' Generation had tested positive for the virus earlier that day. According to their statement, she began feeling slightly unwell the day before and tested positive via a self-test kit. She then took a rapid antigen test the next morning, when her positive status was further confirmed.

The idol is currently quarantined in accordance with government guidelines and has temporarily halted activities as she recovers.
