I wrote this poem in memory of our angel Kim Jonghyun.

How beautiful were you 

How inspiring were you 

How talented were you 

And how caring were you 

Do you know how many people loved you ? 

How many looked at you as their inspiration ? 

And now how many cry over you? 

How many look out for your affection ?

But we all know your demon got bigger: 

DEPRESSION 

It took the best of the outstanding person you were 

Maybe there was another solution

I mourn your absence

Your silence 

I wish you could be here 

And whisper in my ear

« Everything’s fine now 

Im back somehow 

I’ll stay with you 

To make y’all dreams come true »

I wish someone could’ve stopped your suffering 

Before it was too late 

When you were smiling 

Did you fake ? Or was it fate ?

You were an angel on earth 

Now the most beautiful one in the sky 

With all the tears I cry 

I hope you’ll be given a second birth 

Will you ever come back ?

Will you? Will you? 

Or can I join you up there too? 

Seeing you again is all I ask 

Bring back the Jonghyun we all know

The one who’s smile brightens our day 

The depression, this hoe 

Let me chase it away 

I miss your face 

I miss the sound of your voice 

I miss those days

When you were with the four other boys 

It’s not just about me 

It’s about SHINee 

Your family 

You were their one and only 

Your devoted Shawols

All of those people

They’re tearful 

Since the day you gave reason to that devil

You set your soul free 

Free of agony

Free of that growing hole ripping parts of you 

Free of all the dark emotions you got through 

Let’s start all over again 

Without any pain

If you seem fine on the outside

You should be fine as well on the inside

The fog blurring your vision 

The mask covering up your emotions 

You kept it all inside

And it led you to suicide 

Thought by thought, 

Tear by tear, 

Word by word, 

I hope it all gets to you. 

You did well Kim Jonghyun. We’ll miss you forever. The world’s gonna remember who you were, and admire the person you’ve been. You’ve inspired so many.
