McDonald's released a new commercial featuring Asian American stars.
On February 5, McDonald's unveiled the new fun commercial starring K-pop star Amber and digital influencer Mike Bow. The two get in a debate on the question, "Is bacon the best thing to happen to McDonald's Classics? Or are McDonald's Classics the best thing to happen to bacon?" The debate concludes with a dance-off.
The 30-second commercial announcing the addition of bacon to three of McDonald's Classic menu items (Big Mac, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, and Cheesy Fries) was filmed in downtown Los Angeles by Wesley Chan of Wong Fu Productions.
Amber expressed excitement in joining the promotion, stating, "I am so honored to have partnered with a brand that I've grown up with and am still enjoying. Thank you McDonald's and everyone who made this happen and for having me part of this campaign!"
