7-Eleven's 'Inkigayo Sandwich' is so popular that it is officially getting a sequel.
Roughly six months after the debut of their original 'Inkigayo Sandwich,' the convenience store chain has announced that they will be releasing a second flavor - replacing the original's strawberry jam with blueberry jam. Similar to the original, the 'Inkigayo Sandwich 2' will also be priced at 2,200 won (roughly $1.96 USD).
7-Eleven's 'Inkigayo Sandwich' is inspired by the sandwich served to idols waiting backstage at the SBS music program 'Inkigayo.' Made with egg salad, cabbage, ham, imitation crab meat, mayonnaise, black pepper, and strawberry jam, the sandwich became popular for not only its unique and addictive taste, but its reported role in helping idols exchange phone numbers on set.
Would you give the sandwich a try?
