ACE's song "Callin'" has one of the most aesthetically pleasing MVs of the previous year. Because the music video is edited in a series of overlay clips, there exists a uniqueness unparalleled by your average run-of-the-mill MV concept. The coloring of the MV is contrasted by inverted colors and the members themselves are also dressed in colors that stand out, making "Callin'" a huge success for an aesthetic MV.

Red Light by f(x)
Monochromatic elements give this MV a unique feel, however, the inclusion of the 'red lights' in "Red Light" by f(x) ties the song and the music video together. The majority of the video is shot in monochromatic greyscale, but the flashes of red give an indication of the song's title and concept. "Red Light" is a darker concept for f(x), but is pulled off effortlessly.
3.
I by Taeyeon
Taeyeon's "I" was shot during her time in New Zealand. Not only that, but the footage has major color correction turned on, so the images of her time abroad were extremely vivid! Her video is a glorified visual masterpiece of her gorgeous looks juxtaposed against an elegant and serene New Zealand landscape.
4.
Singing in the Rain by LOONA/JinSoul
LOONA's "Singing in the Rain" is a bit unlike the other videos on the list as it doesn't focus on a specific element of visuals such as pastel or color correction. In fact, the video for "Singing in the Rain" opts for a more dramatic visual effect, but the bit that wins us over is JinSoul with the goldfish! The way the video has glorified the idol created a digital painting effect that is one-of-a-kind!
5.
The Rain by Ladies' Code
Legendary group, Ladies' Code, had a wonderful visual masterpiece that proved extremely appealing to fans worldwide with their MV for "The Rain." In particular, fans fawned over the inclusion of the charming scene of umbrellas falling from the sky like a meteor shower. The entire video is visually appealing beyond expectations!
6.
Secret Garden by Oh My Girl
The individual sets made for each member of Oh My Girl are simple, yet effective visually due to their minimalist but colorful choices. Not to mention, "Secret Garden" included the use of CGI effects. CGI adds an additional element to the visual options picked for the video, and in our opinion, the CGI was a big winner!
7.
Spring Day by BTS
Though many fans would argue that "Blood, Sweat & Tears" is BTS most aesthetic video, "Spring Day" has the most artistically pleasing and thought-inducing storyline. Not only does the video serve to complete unfinished plot lines, it also uses a number of influences from aspects of their lives and shows the relationship between the group. The visuals, though not intensely color corrected or monochromatic, show each member as an individual, but also manage not to downplay their roles within the group.
8.
Shangri-La by VIXX
VIXX's "Shangri-La" is known as one of the most aesthetically-pleasing music videos in all of K-Pop. Dramatic dancing paired with monochrome settings and cutting-edge lighting and smoke effects really create a visual masterpiece to behold when watching "Shangri-La." Each member has their own color palette and the entire MV is a sight to take in.
9.
The 7th Sense by NCT U
NCT U's "The 7th Sense" is extremely intoxicating to watch. The dramatic lighting pairs well with the dramatic and slower aspects of the song itself. Not to mention, the group's powerful dance capability is an added plus! In certain scenes, there is a visual overlay (:32 seconds) where the editing is made to be especially eye-catching. See if you can spot all the overlay scenes!
10.
I Wish by Cosmic Girls
Cosmic Girls or WJSN's "I Wish" serves as an MV with awesome vaporwave influence. The color palette chosen to color the MV is a great choice as it showcases the brightness of many of the colors without washing out the entire shot. Cosmic Girls' video for "Secret" is another MV with great aesthetic value!
11.
Hogu by GIRIBOY
GIRIBOY isn't necessarily K-Pop, but his video for "Hogu" is a K-HipHop masterpiece. The video has an intense amount of artistic direction that vibes well with the lyricism GIRIBOY has chosen to employ for the track. The video is extremely low-budget and minimal but maintains a high-quality and expensive feel. Kudos to the MV editor!
