The finals for the track and field event, the 60 meter race, was aired on February 20 via MBC's 'Idol Star Olympics.' Dal Shabet's Ga Eun faced off against crowd favorite KARA's Hara while ZE:A's Dongjun ran his fastest against rival 2AM's Jo Kwon.
In the end, despite the competition's speed and athleticism, Ga Eun and Dong Jun won themselves the gold medal in the women's and men's event respectively! Congratulations!
Ga Eun had stated, "I've never gone up against Hara in the past, so I'm scared," while TAHITI's Jisu, also competing, had said, "Honestly, I have no strength in my legs right now and I'm very nervous."
Previously, Hara recorded a speed of 9.33 seconds during Chuseok special 'Sweet Girl' in 2009, so she was the crowd favorite today. However, she was not fast enough for Ga Eun who ran the 60 meters in 8.98 seconds, winning the trophy. Jisu followed so closely in second place despite the lack of strength in her legs with 8.99 seconds for second place.

For the men's portion, Dongjun went up against Jo Kwon, BTOB's Minhyuk, B1A4's Baro, 100%'s Changbum, and Big Star's FeelDog, but ultimately won with a time of 7.34 seconds! Unfortunately, Jo Kwon had fallen during the race, which resulted in a loss of momentum and time. The silver went to Changbum and bronze to FeelDog.
Congratulations to them all for running an impressive race, and a special good job to the winners!
