Singer Nam Tae Hyun, who faced controversy following charges of methamphetamine use, is making his return to the stage.
Nam Tae Hyun is set to perform at the 'K-pop Week in Hongdae' event on May 6th at the West Bridge Live Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul. This performance will be his first official stage appearance since the drug-related allegations and revenge pornography scandal.
In connection with this comeback, Nam Tae Hyun shared a message on his social media on the 25th, saying, "It's been a long time since I've had the chance to greet you through a performance. A lot has happened, but as an artist who loves music and as someone who has matured a little more, I am returning to my place."
He continued, "Thanks to the love and support of those precious people around me, I was able to gather the courage to sing again. I’ll be showcasing my latest song, 'On the Edge of the Night,' and a new track soon at this performance, so I hope you’re looking forward to it."
In August 2022, Nam Tae Hyun was sentenced to one year in prison with a two-year probation period for methamphetamine use at his home with his ex-girlfriend Seo Eun Woo (formerly known as Seo Min Jae).

"Hello :)
It's been a long time since I've had the chance to greet you with performance news! A lot has happened, but as an artist who loves music and as someone who has matured a little more, I am returning to my place.
Thanks to the love and support of those precious people around me, I was able to gather the courage to sing again.
I will keep that gratitude in mind and work even harder to present an honest and amazing stage to those who come to the performance.
I will also be debuting my new song 'On the Edge of the Night' and another upcoming track for the first time during this performance, so please look forward to it!
