Breakup rumors have surfaced about one of China's top celebrity couples: former EXO member Luhan and actress Guan Xiaotong.
Despite a seven-year age difference, the couple has been in a public relationship since 2017. Over the years, rumors of an impending marriage have consistently drawn attention.
On April 19 (local time), several Chinese-language media outlets, including Taiwan’s ETtoday, reported that Luhan and Guan Xiaotong have allegedly broken up.
The speculation stems from noticeable changes in their social media activity.
According to reports, Guan Xiaotong had posted long birthday messages for Luhan on social media every year. However, this year, she did not post any birthday greeting at all.
Fueling the breakup rumors is a cheating scandal involving Luhan that surfaced in February.
At the time, rumors circulated that a well-known celebrity had been unfaithful, and many netizens suspected Luhan to be the subject of those allegations.
The couple’s recent actions have only added weight to the speculation.
Once frequently seen together in public, the two have not made any joint appearances recently. Guan Xiaotong has also deleted all posts and mentions related to Luhan from her social media. Neither Luhan nor Guan Xiaotong has made an official statement regarding the breakup, leaving fans increasingly curious.
Meanwhile, Luhan debuted in 2012 as a member of EXO but filed a lawsuit in late 2014 to terminate his contract, subsequently leaving the group and pursuing a career as a singer and actor in China.
Guan Xiaotong is a well-known Chinese actress, and news of their relationship created a huge buzz when it was first announced.
