Wonder Girls' Yenny traveled to Africa, which is encountering a poaching crisis, for KBS 1TV's 'Real Experience, Embrace the World.'
After a 20-hour long plane ride to Botswana, she began in the center of the capital, Gaborone, and moved onto visiting other places like the Okavango Delta to garner some real life experiences, particularly regarding wild animals on the verge of extinction due to the serious poaching situation in Africa. In order to help protect the wildlife, she was active as a rescue worker of sorts during her stay there.
According to the production team, Yenny even embarked on a light aircraft to personally visit the wild animals in order to get closer to the nature of Okavango. Although she usually showed a very showy image on stage as a singer, she was told to have been very easygoing during the entire filming process.
You can get more updates on Yenny when 'Real Experience, Embrace the World' airs on March 12 at 10:50PM KST.
