Rookie artists John Park and Ailee have been confirmed as surprise guest contestants for the Patty Kim special of KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Song 2'.

PD Go Minku stated on February 24th, "Rookie singers Ailee and John Park, as well as 'Immortal Song 2' alumni Kim Taewoo and K.Will will be featuring on the 'Patty Kim' episode, and the total number of 14 singers will be competing for the top spot."

"Immortal Song 2 has showcased some really talented rookies in the past, and therefore expectations are really high for Ailee," he continued.

"Expectations are also high for 'Super Star K2' finalist John Park," he added. "Not only is he a great singer, we think he can accurately deliver the emotions in Patty's songs."

The Patty Kim special of 'Immortal Song 2' will be filmed March 12th, and will air over 2 episodes at the end of March.

The legendary diva Patty Kim has announced her retirement after 54 years of being in the industry. This 'Immortal Song 2' episode will be her first television guest-appearance after her official retirement.
