Gayoon has garnered in a lot of interest with her nickname as the "Gangnam Girl," and although she has tried to explain this situation previously, she has come out to do so once more. "There's a picture of me that my fans took at the airport, and in the picture my clothes, sunglasses and bag were all brand names so it became a big deal and I was dubbed as the 'Gangnam Girl.' If you add the cost of my sunglasses, bag and clothes that I was wearing at the time, the total comes to be 15 million KRW ($12,751.316 USD), so the high value became an issue.
