The girls of 4minute made their broadcasting debut on June 18th last year on M! Countdown. Within in the last year they have had consecutive hits with their songs: Hot Issue, MUZIK, and their most recent track, Huh, and have also took their first step into the Japanese music industry. When asked about how they felt about their 1st anniversary, they responded by saying, "We can't believe it's already been one year since we debuted. It feels like a dream. We are so thankful for our fans who have looked after us until now." Unlike the typical vibrant and cute girl group image, 4minute have built their image on being powerful and energetic. In particular, their latest song, Huh, has shown their growth with a more mature and strong performance. 4minute continued to share their aspirations by saying, "Although we have many inadequacies, thank you for loving us. We ask that you would remain with us for the next 5, 10 years as 4 minute continues to develop." They received what may have been their greatest anniversary present yesterday, when they beat out CNBLUE to win their first 1st place on M! Countdown.
