Uh oh! SNSD experienced a minor setback during their first comeback stage on MBC Music Core. On a night eagerly anticipated by many, the 9-member girl group borrowed Abraham Lincoln's hat to perform Show Show Show and closed the show with their title track Oh! in cheerleader outfits. Their hairstyle wasn't the only disaster of the night, however, as they encountered technical difficulties Near the end of their performance for the latter song, the screen blacked out and the sound was muted for approximately 6-7 seconds. Even though it only lasted for a brief moment, it left fans panicking and viewers puzzled, wondering "WTF just happened to my screen?" It was also unfair to SNSD, who worked so hard for their comeback stage and first performance of 2010, and to fans, who have been holding only high expectations for their favorite female idols. Hence, it's no surprise that fans swarmed the Music Core homepage as soon as SNSD's performance ended, with inquiries regarding the small blooper and complaints directed at the faulty production staff. The production staff, in turn, replied that they are currently investigating the source of the problem. In defense of Music Core, the production staff are only human and capable of making mistakes like anybody else. Technical difficulties are inevitable for all artists at one point or another. Besides, SNSD will have more opportunities to perform the songs from their new album and, hopefully, show improvement along the process as well. If you haven't seen the performance already, check it out below. The technical error begins at 3:08. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufcMSokahzE cr: monmonsnowHD
