It seems like BoA's been concentrating on Japan lately; this month, she's already performed in J-WAVE and the 8th annual A-Nation tour. BoA's also coming out with a new Japanese single called [BUMP BUMP] on October 21. The international star recently announced that she will hold a short tour of live Christmas concerts in Japan in early December. This is big news for Japanese fans, since BoA hasn't held one of these in two years. "BoA The LIVE X'mas" will take place Dec 4-5th in Tokyo and on Dec 8th in Osaka. News on the American front has been relatively quiet, but that doesn't mean this girl's abandoning her Western conquest. In fact, BoA's repackaging her self-titled album and releasing 'BoA DELUXE' on September 22nd. This album will include three new bonus tracks (*). You can't go wrong with these two working together. image: boajjang Furthermore, North America CAA, which is representing BoA in all affairs (music, film, merchandising etc), is considering a US tour during the later half of 2009. Since we're already near September, we're anticipating more announcements soon if this plan develops! Not gonna lie - I have mixed feelings toward how broad BoA's promotions are; she can't take her USA promotions seriously if she's focusing on Japan and flying there for a tour. Even if she's known all over Asia, she needs rigorous promotion and concentration to make it in the States. In my opinion, her management needs to focus its efforts on a narrower goal.
