Minho of SHINee's music video for his debut solo album, ‘CALL BACK,’ has been released, marking an exciting step in his solo career.
On the morning of November 4th, Minho held a press conference at the Fairmont Ambassador Seoul in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, to introduce his first solo album, ‘CALL BACK,’ and personally share his thoughts about this milestone.
During the event, Minho spoke about being the last SHINee member to release a full solo album, stating, “I am the final member to release a solo full album. With each of the members already showcasing such amazing talents, it would be a lie to say I don’t feel the pressure. But that pressure has been motivating me to create something even better. I’m grateful for the positive influence from my members, and I want to present an album and performance they’d be proud of.”
He also reflected on SHINee’s unique blend of individual and group activities, adding, “Each member has a strong character, but as a group, we bring a unique SHINee identity. I think we are pioneers of a group that balances individual strengths with team unity, and that’s a point of pride for us. We’ll continue to work hard to maintain that.”
When asked about his fellow members’ reactions to his album release, Minho shared with a laugh, “We’re like family, so there isn’t much of a reaction. It’s a bit awkward, so we don’t say much. Honestly, I’m the one who gets the most excited, always saying things like ‘Hope it’s a big hit’ or ‘This is amazing!’” He then joked, “Since none of them have reached out yet, I think they’ll contact me after seeing the news. Come on, guys, send me a message!”
